The Bryan Public Library serves as the Mississippi headquarters for the Tombigbee Regional Library System which encompasses ten libraries in five northeast Mississippi counties. Located at 338 Commerce Street in West Point and headed by regional director Mary Helen Waggoner, the library is an outstanding community asset. Constantly innovating, Bryan Library is connected to a high speed telecommunications network and offers public Internet accessibility and an automated circulation system with over 116,000 titles. The library also provides access to the MAGNOLIA databases (Mississippi Alliance for Gaining New Opportunities through Library Information Access) which is a state funded library consortium providing online databases for publicly funded K-12 schools, public libraries, community college libraries, and university libraries in Mississippi. Regional library connectivity and interlibrary loan programs with our two area University libraries expand Bryan's available titles and services to levels that exceed those of many large cities. Citizens of West Point from pre-school to seniors also enjoy the many other services offered by the library. The listings below are presented as only a sample of what is available.
