Mr. Faulkner was born on Ocotber 14, 1930. He was reared and educated in West Point, and graduated from West Point High School. He volunteered for military service on September 15, 1950, during the height of the Korean War, and received his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. He was assigned to an Air Force technical school and began specialized training at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

On October 6, 1951 he was involved in an automobile accident in Ogden, Utah and was seriously injured. He died from his injuries on October 28, 1951.
