Mr. Allen died on September 14, 1944 in France at the age of 24 years. At the time of his death, he had been in service for 2 years and had been overseas for 19 months.

The son of Mr and Mrs. R.P. "Pink" Allen of North Division Street in West Point, MS., and later of Aberdeen, MS., he left one brother and five sisters in addition to his parents.
