Medical Points - Excellent Health Care
The Clay County Medical Center is a modern, primary care medical facility. Founded in 1983, CCMC is a part of the largest non-metropolitan full-service health care facility in the nation - North Mississippi Medical Services. The 50 acre campus in West Point includes the main hospital, the Clay County Wellness Center, and seven out patient clinics, staffed by a full range of medical specialists.
Emergency medical care is provided jointly by the Clay County Medical Center and the West Point/Clay County Ambulance service. Emergency Room technicians and trauma physicians are on duty 24 hours a day. Nationally certified Paramedics staff the Ambulance Service and all ambulances are equipped with Primary Life Support equipment. The city also has two excellent nursing homes, as well as a variety of home health care services and partially assisted housing facilities. The cost of health care is well below the national average. ______________RETIREMENT SECTION PAGES______________ [ Up ] [ Medical Points ] [ Pivotal Points ] [ Quality Points ] [ Match Point ] [ Contact Point ] |
