| The Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway is a beautiful location for fishing, boating and water skiing. Best of all, its only seven minutes from downtown West Point. |  |
 | Some of the best hunting in the south in right here in Clay County. From the steep slopes of the Kilgore Hills to the wetlands of Tibbee Bottom to the banks of the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, large populations of wild game abound. Here, the white-tailed deer is king, but there are also large populations of duck, rabbit, quail, dove, wild boar, and turkey. Resident hunting licenses are nominally priced at about $25 per season, with additional charges for special game such as ducks. Hunting and fishing laws in Mississippi are rigidly enforced by the Mississippi State Fish and Game Commission and Federal Authorities. |
